Recycling Perks, The Program

Recycling Perks, the program

Norfolk is central to Hampton Roads and is home to many great attractions that keep residents occupied when they’re not recycling and being green. Norfolkians are more hip than hipsters when it comes to recycling and the environment.

Need A 2nd Recycling Cart?

Norfolk wants to make sure you can recycle as much as possible. They’ll gladly deliver a 2nd recycling cart if you need one! Email the Norfolk Impact Center at healthyneighborhoods@norfolk.gov to request a 2nd cart.

Recycling Beyond The Cart

There are many items that can be recycled, but not in your curbside cart like household hazardous waste. If you would like to recycle batteries, electronics, and other hazardous material, visit the City’s recycling website.

Recycling Perks welcomes Norfolk businesses to participate in the rewards program by offering a discount to local recyclers. The program is free for businesses to participate and more information can be found by clicking here.
