Augusta, GA

The City of Augusta’s contract with Recycling Perks ended.

Recycling Perks, The Program

Augusta joined Perks in 2013 and has been greener ever since. Residents of this lovely city take part in co-mingle curbside recycling and monthly tire recycling events. Even the City’s minor league baseball club, the Augusta Greenjackets, are green!

Everyone Needs A Recycling Cart

Recycling is included in your curbside solid waste service. If you already receive City trash service, you can request a recycling container for no additional fee by calling 311 or completing the online form by clicking here.

Recycling Collections

Recycling containers are collected once a week on the same day as trash collection. Don’t forget to keep your glass separated from the curbside cart. Glass recycling is available at convenience centers for residents to drop off at their convenience. Check out the Recycling Made Easy flyer for details on drop off locations. If you don’t have access to Augusta’s curbside collection, there are several drop off locations throughout the City.

Collection Made Easy For Everyone

Augusta has different size options for containers. Check out the Augusta Solid Waste website for all types of service and fees.

Tire Recycling

The City has a robust tire recycling program with monthly collection events for residents. Check out the calendar of events and more information about tire recycling in Augusta by clicking here.

Recycling Perks welcomes Augusta businesses to participate in the rewards program by offering a discount to local recyclers. The program is free for businesses to participate and more information can be found by clicking here.
